| An initial investment that increases in value over the years, continuing to provide consistent returns. That sounds to us a lot like the purchase of a stock that anyone would be proud to own. That should also be your goal when it comes to search engine optimization. We wouldn't want to buy a stock that increased in value for a short while and then fizzled away into oblivion, would you? We would want to invest in something that would increase in value over the years, continuing to net results. What we are suggesting here is nothing revolutionary. It follows solid guidelines established and proven throughout time, that is built on fundamental principles based on quality of product. The same fundamentals that helped to establish the true leading companies of the world that have proven their rankings over the years as leaders. Imagedia believes in utilizing those same principles when they approach the difficult task of optimizing a web site for search engines. We approach it as delivering a solid product that will survive over time by providing not only our clients with a quality investment, but also a benefit to our clients customers by delivering the information they are searching for. |

Just because you've done a good job of getting high search rankings doesn't mean you've done a good job of search engine optimization. Think of it as being on Madison Avenue or Rodeo Drive, paying the big rent for major traffic and you're there selling the recipe for ice. (We've seen stranger things!) Without sales, you're out of business. So truly effective search engine optimization should include proven marketing practices and design that presents relevant information to your intended party in a persuasive and appealing manner that leads to that person committing to a purchase. In other words, just getting people to your site due to high rankings is not enough. Traffic alone is not the key. You've got to close the deal.
Think about it. How many times have you searched the internet, typed in the search term you're interested in, get the search results, click the link and then click your back button because the page you were sent to was garbage? Yes, they had high search rankings, but were they useful to you and provide you with the information you were searching for? If you clicked the back button, back to the search results page, we'd have to say no. So top rankings don't necessarily mean search engine optimization. Is this an ego thing or is it a results thing? Remember, if you are smart, you're looking for results and those results are sales. That is optimization.
